Travel days

Believe it or not, traveling is getting so much easier with the girls. But you have to remember I traveled from Florida to San Francisco alone with them when they were 11 months old. Poppy crashed on the first leg of the flight home, and Tilly crashed on the second leg of the flight. Bringing on 1 carseat and leaving the other seat empty works out well for right now. They won't usually sleep unless they are strapped into a carseat or in a crib--on the way to Florida Tilly didn't sleep at all, because I couldn't strap her down and the flights were supposed to be full so I didn't bother with a carseat. We met a woman with identical twin boys on flight, hers were 22 years old!
We had a really good time in Florida, I'm glad we went, but I'm glad to be home and back into our routine too! I'm also thankful that the girls are such good travelers--they really are. I'm sure we will have our share of bad trips but so far we have been really pleased with what good girls they are--except that one flight to Atlanta where it was so hard to keep the girls in our laps it was virtually a wrestling match! It was like trying to hold 2 crazed greased pigs on your lap, for 5 hours. Good times.

Assorted pictures from Florida

From our trip to Orlando, Tilly watching tv with Grammy, visiting the Rapture Center in Winter Park, with Uncle Steve, and with Terri's nieces at "The Christmas House" in Winter Park. They loved those girls, at the end of the night they didn't want to get out of their arms--that is the first time that has happened except with their nanny Herminia!

our very unattractive gingerbread house

I'm just getting around to posting more holiday pictures, so bear with me. We made the ugliest gingerbread house ever, makes you not even want to eat it! We had fun though, the girls were probably a bit too young to decorate but we tried. Steve's girlfriend Terri helped me build the house so the girls just "helped" with the decorating.
